[GBBF 2016, Olympia] - Big Lamp Summerhill Stout, 4.4%. Schuckeschwarz. Abgang v.a. Lakritze, Röstmalze sehr schwach. Vanilliger, milde nussiger Nachhall. Sehr leichtes Stout.

Scopey (14730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2016
Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours darkest brown, near black with a small tan head. The aroma is quite meaty, smoked notes, roasted malt, earthy, ash, liquorice and dark chocolate. The taste is quite light, bitter, earthy, roasted malts, wood, liquorice, umami, leather and peppery spice. Medium body and soft carbonation. A simple, easy-going dark session ale.

imdownthepub (14553) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2015
Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Banbury, Oxon. Dark chestnut with cream head. There is a pleasant dark roasted malt character to this from the beginning, chocolate flavours with a light toffee note. Full on the palate and quite rich. Very pleasant.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2015
Cask at The Bishop’s Mill, Durham (JDW), £1.99/pint. Not usually my type of beer but I found this one easy to drink with enough subtlety to the chocolate/malt character to keep it interesting.

3.3
Martin243 (1156) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2013
Pint at the Wheatsheaf, Gateshead. Near black with a tan skim. Dark chocolate and farmyard aroma. Coffee, burnt toast and liquorice flavours. Thin palate for the style. Acceptable, but there are better stouts out there

2.8
Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2013
Cask at Market Porter, London. Dark brown, almost black beer with a small beige head. Tar, ashes, dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Similar flavour, the coffeeflavour is not nice (bitter coffee) :-(
