Cask at Fitzgeralds, Sunderland Flavour packed but too much so. Heavy drink

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 2. A clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of soft citrusy hops, pale malt. Taste of mild fruity hops, yellow fruits, pale malt, low carbonation and bitterness.

Grumbo (3756) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2017
Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017. Pours pale yellow gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of hop, with fruity and floral notes. Medium plus sweetness and light to moderate body. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

JorgeLee (2193) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2017
Cask, GBBF 2017. Light golden colour. Solid but uninspiring golden ale, light malts, hint of sweetness, light fruity hop character, low to medium bitterness. Ok I suppose, didn’t stand out.

Seffle (464) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2016
Draught at Milecastle Inn,160626. Clear light straw amber. Very creamy white head. Fresh citrusy nose. Crisp palate with citrus acidity and nice bitterness. No floral notes though. Nice thirstquencher after a brisk walk along the H wall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mishnok (375) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2016
From cask. Golden yellow with thin white head. Not much of an aroma. Light body with some hops, nothing particularly bad, fairly drinkable as a session ale, but not especially remarkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

imdownthepub (15132) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2015
Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. Light, thinnish, sweetish golden beer, there is a sweet malt character with a light fruity hop note but all quite bland and restrained. Too simple really.

Tarosama (84) - Northumberland, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2014
Cask @ The Keelman, thin head, light body with slightly zesty hop aroma. Nice afternoon beer to drink at The Keelman while kids play at the playground.

chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2014
Cask (handpump) at GBBF, day 2 in August 2007. Pale gold colour. Modest condition with thin white head. Not much in the aroma department. Dry and clean on the palate but not much depth of hop presence. Acceptable quaffer but seemed rather underpowered and uninspiring. Could use more zesty zing. Alright but golden ales need a bit more than this to capture the attention these days.

Typical Big lamp flavour, ordinary, lightweight, not doing it for me, but by all means try it.
