Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, choclate. leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy beige head. Dark pruney fruit in the nose. Medium body, some vanilla, dark dried fruit while the dark malts are fairly subdued. Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Birthday Celebration of Jack & Leighton - many thanks to Matteo for this one! Pours black-brown with a large, dark tan foam head. Lightly tangy dark malt nose, lightly floral, with notes of citrus. Moderately tangy flavor, light to medium sweet, with a bit of ash and burnt toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate, light funk, yeast esters, dark fruits, toffee fudge.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
Ok stuff - a little on the thin side.
