On tap. Poured a golden color with a fair head and spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, bit of malt sweetness and grain. Taste of citrus, light malt sweetness and bit of grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body and quite smooth. Nothing fancy just an easy drinker.

22oz bottle (Courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Weizen glass at 42. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation yet only a white ring of a head. Aroma is sour wheat and melting plastic. It has a lighter medium body with a smooth and flat mouth feel. Flavor is just not good, all I get is the plastic from the aroma and it hangs for a while. Overall I can say anything good about this one and looking at other ratings I think this bottle must have gone bad, exceedingly bad.

Thanks to Kyle Durham for bringing this "rare" beer to me after his 50 mile Tunnel Hill run in Illinois --- Clear straw color, fast disappearing white head, no lace. Taste is thin malt and wheat that adds carbonation on the swallow, fading quickly in a watery finish. A simple brew, a little on the watery side, only fair.

Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is slightly wheaty with not much else. Flavor is also just kinda wheaty and overall kinda watery. Typical boring American wheat ale.

From a bottle. Pours cloudy golden - looks like a hefe. Flavor is light and wheaty with a slight bitter finish but fairly thin and undeveloped. Standard and unexceptional wheat ale that is more like a hefe than an American wheat (which isnt a bad thing).

Bottle - not much head, light yellow color, pretty basic wheaty aroma and flavor, mild hops, not much to this one

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/10/12

Aroma: It has a nose of fresh cut grass, bread/yeast, wheat, and some grains
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear yellow-straw color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste has some light pale malts, light sweetness, bread, and a light grassy hop
Palate: The carbonation dominates the palate up-front, is way too strong here, and completely overpowers the fairly light body. Despite that, it finishes with a nice crispness in the mouth, which I would have liked to reward, but that crispness ultimately could not overcome the carbonation to get the palate above a 2.
Overall Impression: Decent ale, I get where they were going with it drinking like a Kolsch, I really do. For me, the nose is best component, and it kind of went down hill from there. Overall, it fine, but it is somewhat flawed, particularly that carbonation. It isnt far off from being solid.

Bottle, shared at the lake. Looks pretty clear and golden in my red Solo cup. Aroma is of grassy hops and biscuity malts. Flavours of clean pale malts, grass, celery. Quite hoppy actually-- nicer than I expected, although more of a golden ale than a true wheat beer.

22oz bomber from Spirits Crossroads. Poured a clear gold body with a smaller bright white frothy head. Aroma is basically all vegetables, some notes of wet bread and a hint of skunk. The body has harsh carbonation, a medium mouthfeel and luckily for me a quick fading aftertaste. Flavor is more like skunk flavored bread than vegetables but still not desired unless you like skunk bread. Is this really the same brewery that made that damn good India Brown Ale???
