Cloudy orange with white wispy foam. Aroma is vegetal with some malt, caramel and pumpkin spice. Seems like I can actually taste pumpkin along with some malt and pumpkin spice. Well balanced. The spices are mild and work well. Very nice pumpkin ale.
Bottle. Amber with one finger head. Sweet with moderate pie spicing and light vanilla. Flavors meld better than most in this style and is easy to drink. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle:   Spicy in the traditional sense but also some vanilla and caramel.   Noticeable on the nose, but certainly moreso on the tongue.   Takes your traditional pumpkin and adds in a little more spices.   Its borderline spiced candle, but thankfully its not heavy.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   A bit thicker than most but not quite heavy.   Spicy finish, lingering maltiness with vanilla and soft pumpkin spices.   Pretty tasty! oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 13, 2016

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky dull copper colored beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is full of pumpkin, malt, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. The taste is a perfect match of the aroma and is an excellent example of a pumpkin ale.

Amber beer out of the bottle with a foamy off white head. Big pie spice nose. White sugar sweetness with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon and a bit of ginger. Tasty and typical pumpkin beer. Bif (2237) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - OCT 10, 2015
On tap. Served a cloudy dirty copper color with a foamy head. Aroma of pumpkin pie with bit of cinnamon and spice. Taste of pumpkin and spice with bit of malt in the background. Mild bitterness and a lingering finish. Moderate body, smooth with a nice seasonal feel. Nice beer for the style without going over the top. dmac (6206) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 3, 2015
12oz bottle from Spirits Lakewood. Poured an orange-amber murk body under a smaller off white foamy head. Aroma/flavor is soapy to start, pumpkin pulp, vanilla, cinnamon, orange juice. Flavor is minus the oj plus all-spice and nutmeg. Medium-full body with average carbonation and a lingering aftertaste. Dacrza (961) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - SEP 25, 2015
DATE TASTED: September 25, 2015 ... GLASSWARE: Sam Adams lager.. OCCASION: Shark Tank Season seven begins!... APPEARANCE: light, soft orange-colored body that is hazy; a creamy white head that matches the creamsicle theme; head retention is great; ... AROMA: nutmeg, apple, pumpkin, and toasted bread make for an appealing aroma; gingerbread and cinnamon are also present; some alcohol late... PALATE: initially, creamy at the froth; thin, slightly bubbly at the throat, reminiscent of ginger ale...reasonably easy-drinking... TASTE: the aroma is indicative of Big Muddy’s offering--pumpkin, nutmeg, apple, cinnamon, with caramel, gingerbread and soft, floral hops...a veritable garden of flavors that leaves a soft, tangible aftertaste... OVERALL: a spice beer that flirts between an ale and a lager--I lean towards a lager in the mouthfeel and strength...the beer is Autumnal, no doubt, and packages the better flavors of the season in a palatable way...
