473 ml Can.
Hazy straw body with a 1-finger white head settling to a thin foamy film leaving some spotty lace.
Aroma of light sweet malts, grasy-tangy hops, yeast, bread crust, an astringent note.
Flavor of pale sweet malts, astringent hops, a crispy soda crackers finish tapering to a corn husk linger. Feels a bit thin in the mouth. swiseman (536) - Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 26, 2017
Can calls this a "lagered ale". Pale gold color; looks like a lager with similar taste, but finishes with more body. Taste has strong woody hops. Reminded me of a Dutch lager, so no great surprise to see it is classified as a Kolsch. omhper (25953) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2017
Keg at Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa. Clear golden, small head. Bready, mildly buttery malt aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grass, bread and mild butter. Mid bitter finish. Nice, deep malt profile. Good drinkability. Like a top fermented Dortmunder. My favourite from this brewer. vsyrbu (141) - MOLDOVA - JAN 12, 2017
in flavor has floral notes and a strange smell, which resembles something cheese. A little hop, a little wheat, a little flowers and a simple finish teamrunkle (409) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - NOV 30, 2016
No head, good carbonation. Malty, bready. Not really my style of beer. From a can.

Another one of these macro/lagered crossover junk beers. Pours apple juice gold, green hues. with a big head (only selling point). Ontario has come a long way, and this is pretty dumpy. Big nose of bread crust, yeast, cardboard and sweet corn. Flavour has a gritty vegetable backbone, with sweet sweet fizz. I know that they’re trying to build some sort of bohemian pilsener ale....but this is very dated, stale and sad. Aiming quite low. Not offensive, but pointless. At Ajax Beerfest. Pours clear gold with a white head. Sweet malts aroma. Taste of biscuit malts with a fruit finish. Decent beer, very drinkable. Johnsense (1801) - - MAY 7, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2016 Clear gold pour with a small. Lighter hopping, light sweet biscuit malt, straw, cracker in aroma and taste. Light body, perfect for kicking back during a round of golf (much like Chris Philips is doing now). For a basic golden ale you could do far worse. 473 ml can. Pours a veiled straw with a white head. Aroma is light malt, herbal hops. Flavor is slightly herbal, pale malt. Finish is slightly fruity. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite bland. Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 17, 2015
Pours a clear gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of fruity esthers and pale malts. Taste is the same with the balance towards the esthers... Easy drinking beer that would be better with less esthers and more of a malt profile.
