Keg at Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa. Clear golden, small head. Bready, mildly buttery malt aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Grass, bread and mild butter. Mid bitter finish. Nice, deep malt profile. Good drinkability. Like a top fermented Dortmunder. My favourite from this brewer. Lubiere (14262) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 8, 2012
A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, crisp malt with light sulfur notes and cheesy notes. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with faint chalky notes, grassy hops, not bad. On tap at brewpub, July 7 2012. jercraigs (11087) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2014

Golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is soft and balanced. Aroma of lightly spicy/noble hops. A touch of bready malts with the faintest hint of toast as well. Very clean tasting with a balanced finish. A very quaffable pint. Simple but good mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2014

Works well for style. Has decent crisp barley finish. Pours gold with ok head and lacing. Slightly sweet malt as well, with note of residual booze in finish, some bitter barley. Average carbonation. Tap at brewpub. czar (9613) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 29, 2013
tap on the premises. clear pale golden pour with a small white head, some retention and lacing. honeyed yet crisp pale maltiness, some floral and citrusy notes, pepper, bread - crusty notes, bit of chalk. almost aggressive carbonation, light body - not watery, dry very herbal finish. o-k. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
Bottle [355ml]. Pours a clear gold with a small fizzy off-white head. Aroma is mainly grain and pale malt along with very light grassy hops and toast. Flavour is grainy, biscuity and slightly sugary sweet along with light grassy hops and a hint of honey. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. It’s clean and inoffensive but clearly I’m not the market for this beer -- it’s a better beer for Joe Sixpack.

Can: Poured a clear bright golden color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of grainy cereal notes is not the most pleasant. Taste is also dominated by grainy unrefined notes with light cereal notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Malt bill is definitely not clean enough in my opinion. robinvboyer (4812) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2012
Sweet bready malts, light grains, light grassy hops. Good carb, solid mouthfeel. More grassy hops in the finish with a slight bitter kick with a smooth cereal kicker.
