(Draught) Sampled on November 23rd, 2006 at the brewpub. Thin white foamy head with a deep orange body. Great full aroma and a ctirus hoppy nose. More like an EPA? Same English malt base with a very smooth texture. Low pressure creamer tap pours a lovely head and texture. A VERY drinkable ale and due for higher ratings! sitronbus (11) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 30, 2006
Excellent ESB. Clear dark amber ale. Good lacing. Medium bodied. Lovely crystal malt taste with citrus hops. Citrus nose. Hanratty (36) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 13, 2006
Copper, amber - orange; rocky white head. Great hoppy nose . Fruity & bitter. Lovely citrus notes with buttescotch & grapefuit. Wow! And there is a bowling alley with hosers right over there! Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2006
Hazy dark amber ale with a thin light moka head. Nice bready malt with smooth floral hops and treacle notes in aroma. In mouth, smooth caramel malt light lingering bitterness from hops, with citrus notes and a meium body. A good ESB. Merci, JM! Hooker (468) - Coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2005

From a 650 ml bottle, thanks BeerPrince. Dark amber-orange coloured with a thin yellow head. Light crystal malt and a touch of sweet aroma. Light woody hops and an overpowering celery salt aroma. Flavour is pretty bland and quite vegetal. Perhaps better at the brewery, but this bottle is quite poor. stephen louis (166) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 23, 2005
Pours a beautiful bright glowing copper, small just off white head,Nose is hops...that is cool,it might be good.
On taste:an authentic ESB! and that is good.this is a ESB thats starts just for a micro secound..sweet.then malt and hops,
Good ESB from a company that deserves way more credit then I have given them so far!

Copper colour. Fruity-hoppy aroma (blackberry, cherry) with a hint of toasty malt. Palate shows woody hop flavours and a moderate, appetizing bitterness. The woody finish is long rather than dry. Malakin (470) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 13, 2004
Deep amber in color with a nice cascade hop aroma. Bit of a malt flavour but mostly just straight up bitterness which is rather harsh even though it’s not overly bitter, was still pretty decent though. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 24, 2003
Nice amber colour with little head. Little nose but the flavour was nice and hoppy. Probably the best beer I had from the taster pack.
