3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from the tap at Big River to a golden-reddish color with medium thick off white head that lingered to mid-glass and left good lacing. Nose was the expected hoppy citrus (grapefruit) but with a pronounced presence of malty earth scents. Mouthfeel was full and tingly, but again slightly offset by malty sweetness. The bittersweet hops and malts combinred for a pleasing taste, and the finish was long and enjoyable.
Pours clear amber with a lingering off white head. Nose is a nice blend of piney hops and sweet malts with a little apple. Flavor is fresh and well balanced. A nice, easy drinking IPA. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2016
On tap at Big River at Disney’s Boardwalk. Clear amber color with an average off-white head. Aroma is of perfume, floral, herbal, and pine. Taste is of herbal, piney hops, grass, and caramel. chinchill (5314) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 28, 2015
On tap at BRG in Chattanooga while #1 Clemson is beating SC.
Appearance: amber colored body with good clarity. Very durable off-white head leaves plenty of sticky lacing.
Floral and herbal aroma with citrus notes and ample strength for style.
Flavor: moderately bitter at first, but high bitterness by mid-taste; some hints of baked bread but mainly hops and more hops.
Medium body is smooth; near medium carbonation.
O: solid but too much dominance by bitter grapefruit. JStax (7175) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - NOV 13, 2015
12 ounce can poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a moderately hazy copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has strong pine resin and some cardboard. Kind of smells like an old beer. The date on the bottom of the can is unreadable unfortunately. The taste is strongly bitter without much to balance it out. There is a moderately sugary nuance to the beer as well, but it is very mich overshadowed by the bitterness. Medium body and lower to medium carbonation. Can poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting white head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit zest and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit zest and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Draft. Copper with large white head and nice lacing. Nice aroma of citrus hops. Medium body with citrus hop bitterness upfront and a nice malt body. tonyth1965 (39) - Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2013
On tap at Big River Grille downtown. This rivals any American-style IPA I’ve tried. Solid malt background, but Cascade hops are at the forefront of this beer. shadey (2152) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 9, 2013
On tap near brewery. Aroma is American hops with a decent amount of caramel malt. Nicely dry-hopped aroma remains throughout the drink and keeps enticing me back to the glass. I don’t know that I would call it aggressive, but it is certainly representative of standard American IPA and is of good quality. coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Draft. Poured deep gold with with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor of spicy, resinous, earthy hops and bready malt, caramel. Medium body. Solid IPA.
