oobawa (1589) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 4, 2017
Very easy-drinking marzen, creamy and heavy on the toffee-caramel notes without growing overly sweet. Nutty and pastry-like on the finish, with slight apple esters and the mildest of hop bitterness on the fade. Pretty red-orange hue with a nice white head and modest lacing. Mediocre nose. Surprisingly nice festbier overall.

Suttree (6466) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 28, 2015
Copper, very foamy, smells crisp, toasty, with a good deal of caramel and toasty aromas. Flavor is caramel, toasty, with a light peppery hops finish.

LuckyDog (615) - - OCT 11, 2014
Not as much flavor as I want in an Oktoberfest. Some spices. Light flavor. Gets better as it warms up.

BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Had this in Chattanooga at a little place near the choo choo. Pours amber with some head. Some caramel and brown sugar. Slight spicyness. Not bad.

brentfeesh (1208) - Mansfield, Ohio, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Good looking copper brew. Light malty, nutty aroma. Good balance of malt, and lightly spicy hops. Malty finish. Medium body with a sticky lingering finish.

nearbeer (5521) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Pint on tap. Dark copper with a lasting ring of bubbles. Nose is caramel, some hints of dried grass and maybe some citrus. Taste is the same, with some grain. Light-medium body is balanced, although some might claim its sweet in these uber-hopped days we are enduring in the USA.

3.5
DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Pours orange amber with off white lacing. Medium aroma is musky, toast, yeast and spice. Palate is lively and well balanced with toast and spice flavors.

NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - SEP 23, 2012
3 oz sampler. Pours orange copper in color. Smooth malty sweet aroma. Caramel, citrus hops and spice flavors. Rich creamy finish

tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - NOV 10, 2011
Draught at the Hamilton Place location. Pours deep clear amber with khaki head. The aroma is light caramel and toast with some distant cinnamon and perhaps nutmeg, maybe some vanilla, and some faint raisin. The flavor is toasted and Munich malt, and sort of a dusty caramel sweetness. It finishes with wood, herbal notes, and a slight drying spiciness. Yeasty aftertaste.

MmmcKay (1052) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Very malty and boring. Drank a number of these before a concert in September October. Not a whole lot going on and felt a bit heavy. Still it wasn’t all bad. And it is an Oktoberfest. Can’t expect a whole lot.
