A robust red ale that combines a rich deep malty flavor from our British Crystal malt, with a classic hop bitterness from the large dose of Cascade hops. An aggressive ale brewed for the beer connoisseur.

Draft @ Big River Grille in the Disney Boardwalk. Pours amber color with light tan head. Aromas of citrus hops and caramel malts. Sweet caramel malt flavor with graprefruit hops. Medium body with average carbonation. My favorite of their beers I’ve tried.

Reddish amber in color. More malt that most of the other brews. Light with hops this was easy drinking red ale. Just not a great beer and way to buttery in the finish.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2016 Tap on the Disney Boardwalk. Deep clear red with A moderate beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and caramel. Nice malt profile with a nice bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The best beer available at the Disney world location when we went.

Dark copper body with a thin, white head. Strong caramel aroma with a bit of citrus. Similar flavor, not bad. More balanced, less bitter.

Review from notes from my trip to Florida. #4 of the night. Poured into a pint glass. 3.5 A: Crimson amber color. Can’t say much about the head as it didn’t come with one. 3.5 S: Caramel and toasty notes. Not much else, but enjoyable nonetheless. 3.5 T: Good caramel flavor with a toastiness again. Moderate bitterness. One again, simple but pleasant. 3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Decently creamy and smooth. 4.0 D: A simple, but decent beer. A little heavier than their Steamboat Pale, and a good deal maltier ( I suppose that goes hand in hand) some malty, caramel notes, and the finish is a little bit more herbal and grassy.

So mistaknly rated this thinking it was the Irish Red. Guess I should have paid more attention. Ooops. Well I can’t figure out how to delete a rating....so I’ll just give it the average.

Tried on tap at the Florida Brew Fest 2011 addition. It pours deep copper – amber with thin mocha head. The aroma is a modest level of bitter pine hops, caramel malts and a bit of caramel kettlization caramel like candy. The taste starts off on the thin side but likely pretty good for a Pale Ale offering up caramel malts, crystal malts and modest levels of pine hop flavor and bitterness. The malts fade while the hops remain pretty consistent in strength right into the finish.

Sampled at the Florida Brewers Guild Beerfest, March ’11. One of the best at the festival. Good amber notes with honey, sweet malts, and a good balance of hops.

Draft at Lake Buena Vista location. Poured ruby brownish with nose of caramel malt, hop, pine, peppery notes. Tastes very resiny hoppy, with fruity and peppery finishing notes. Good.
