Pours apple juice gold with a rocky white head that settles quickly. Nose is sharp, oddly herbal (thyme? field flowers?) and some citrus fruit. Mouth is pretty funked up, some wild yeast, dry wine barrel...didn’t realize this was barrel aged? White grape skin, oak, some herbal notes and funk in there. Pretty sharp with acidity on the back palate. Pretty nice stuff, much better than the other Big Rock beer I had. Thanks Sean! alexsdad06 (10596) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Draft 2011. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have a tart, citrus fruit character, herbal, grass, light funk, pale bready malts with a slight spicy note. Decent enough. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 4, 2013
A - pours hazy orange/tan with 1 finger off white head. Nice retention. S - nice strong aromas. Wheat, hay, earthy bretts and subtle hay and funk. Lemon juice and zest. M - light medium body. Tart with bright lively carb. A little thick on the back end. T - tart lemons and earthy bretts lead the way. Vegetal malts (more than I like) salty notes, grapefruit rind on the palate. Unsweet orange, brett Funk, wet hay and v8 on the end. A little reminiscent of a gose as it warms. O - nice tart saison with some body and complexity. 3.7 drowland (8895) - Georgia, USA - JUL 15, 2013
7/5/13. Bomber thanks to mibirder! Hazy orange pour with a big off-white head that sticks. Sour brett and funk in the aroma with lemon, apples, grapes, and sweet tarts. Tart lemon funk, hay, barnard, acidity, sweet tarts, and more in the flavor. This was a helluva tasty extra and a wonderful surprise! peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Bottle from Sean I believe - thanks! Golden, slight copper color in the glass with a massive, rocky white head. Aroma is apple, light tart, wheat, soft grain, dust, and a clean, background floral character. Taste is tart and quenching with apple, lemon, and complimentary tart giving way to light wheat grain with more tart and lemon. Clean, airy mouthfeel. This is a very nice beer. Excellent.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Huge lemon, green apple, dusty brettanomyces. The malts are subtle, the acidity is bright. This is a great beer. Tmoney99 (14773) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Draft. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate herbs, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

22 ounce thanks to mikem409. Orange body. Slight funk in aroma and taste. Lemon. Tart. Apple as well. Nice. Very thin to no head on the pour. Strykzone (7492) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 16, 2011
Half pint at the brewpub. The nose is really nice. Barnyard funk, citrus, spices, and pepper. It is hazy dingy golden with a small head but nice lacing. The flavor is barnyard funk with lots of fruit. Spices and a malt backbone, too. The pepper grows with warmer temperature. This has plenty going on and it definitely keeps my interest. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Pours a lightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, mustiness, syrupy sweetness, apple, herbs, and hint of soap. Flavor of herbs, florals, biscuit, and lemon. decent but it was kinda lacking in the funk dept
