Craft Beer’s Gold Standard
Ever watch the setting sun turn a field of wheat into a blanket of spun gold? Not to worry if you haven’t, we’ve bottled it for you. It’s prairie goodness so pure that no matter where you choose to enjoy it, just close your eyes to find yourself in that field of dreams.

Little Known Fact
Truly a home-grown, honest-to-goodness Albertan beer. All of Grasshopper’s wheat is trucked in from the Lethbridge area, while its delicious barley malt comes exclusively from central Alberta.

Never had it without the accompanying lemon wedge so the aroma always has the strong citrus notes. Very clear golden-yellow color with a small head. Crisp refreshing taste. I agree with others that the lemon wedge helps make this an extremely enjoyable light tasting beer. If you’re in Alberta I would also recommend trying Lumberjack Lager brewed exclusively for Hudson’s Canadian Tap House by Big Rock Brewery. Comes a close second to Grasshopper in my opinion....

A great wheat ale, but don't even attempt to drink it without a lemon.......

Just recently had this at a pub in Edmonton and I really liked it. They served it with a lemon and I thought it really added to the taste.

Draft. Pours with a little bit of head. Very easy start with a fantastic wheaty finish thats not too overpowering. Fantastic wheat ale.

I feel that there is a great elegance on the palate for a wheat beer....you can really taste the grains....to me the finish needs to be a bit stronger but an excellent beer.

bottle: One of my favourites in the summertime. Light tasting, yet flavourful. Not on par with more flavourful wheats such as Erdinger but superior to many. Light coloured with quickly dissapating white head. A definite coifer. The high quality malts and wheat make for a perfect summer thirst quencher.

341ml Bottle Definately setting a good standard for Wheat Ale’s. A nice orange-y/honey taste with just a touch of bitterness in the finish. A classic Unfiltered White appearance. Not my favorite Wheat ale, but its definately up there!

A better than average very light tasting beer. Very refreshing. Thin head, mild taste, but quite agreeable. THey serve this on Westjet Airlines, and I feel it makes the flight worthwhile.
