355ml can. Clear yellow in colour. Big white head. Aroma - grains, dusty notes, a little sweetness. Taste - tropical fruits, lemon, grains. Pleasant hoppy fade out. Better than I was expecting. andrewje41 (4650) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - FEB 8, 2017
12 oz can poured, gifted by mcberko. Thanks man! A mostly clear golden color pour with a rocky foam head and lacing. Aroma is very citrus heavy, very true grapefruit, and slight floral. Flavor is fruit heavy as well. Citrus, paired with a overripe banana like hint late. Weird. Isn’t much though. Finishes on a refreshing note. Creamy grapefruit. Good hop profile. A flavorful lager for sure. Pretty good stuff. solidfunk (9795) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Light citrus and some pepper. Decent malt. Light bitter and crisp finish. Well balanced like a stuck teetertotter and flavorful. Bottle. RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 3, 2016
Light golden pour, couple fingers of fluffy white head, decent retention. Grapefruit hop aroma, some lighter cereal malt too. Taste follows, fairly dry finish. Lighter body, little thin. Quick clean finish. Decent lager. a_sully (457) - - NOV 27, 2016

Aroma of grapefruit and lemon. Appearance is a clear, golden yellow with a thin head. Chunky lacing. Taste is ruby red grapefruit juice, grapefruit pith, green hops, biscuit malt. Palate is medium-thin, with a dry and bitter finish that lingers. Overall- This is one of my favourite Big Rock offerings. I find it ironic that Big Rock was started here in Calgary, but most of my favourite Big Rock beers are courtesy of BC brewmaster Jody Hammell... Sigh. This is easily my favorite big rock beer. Pours a golden yellow color with some grapefruit aromas. Very juicy hop taste, nice lager finish UXO (1896) - CANADA - JUL 1, 2016
Appearance: clear pale gold with one finger of rocky white head, good retention and moderate patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: grass, pithy grapefruit, crackery pale malt. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (7/10) Medium body tending to the watery, moderate carbonation, short lager finish followed by more lingering bitter. (3/5)
A reasonably pleasant IPL. Falls short of some of their recent efforts, such as Wai-Iti or Collaboration #1, but on the other had it’s a damn sight better than their India Pale Ale. Seems to me like Big Rock continues to struggle with their efforts to become “crafty-er.” I wouldn’t go so far as to call this a step backwards, but it’s not clearly a continuation of what I had been seeing as a trend towards improvement. High on the hops, zero on the malt. But the bitterness is nice as far as taste, just a little too dominating.

Sampled this at 5th annual East Kootenay Fairmont beer festival 2016. Love the combination of lager with hops
