2015 beer advent calendar. Pours Brown, no head. Aroma of dried fruity booze. Taste is a sweet boozy dried fruit, cherries, plums, bourbon, pear, Apple, caramel. Good. Not my favorite style, but a good beer. ryanhunter_4 (334) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2015
355 ml bottle poured at home. Day 6 of the beer advent calendar. Pours a dark ruby red with a beige head. moderate lacing. At first smell I thought I got apples but after it smelled more like some other quads, mostly cherries, spice and alcohol. Taste is quite strong, but it works. Picking up sweet notes (cherries) but has a strong alcohol finish. This is quite good. RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2015
Mahogany pour, thin rocky head. Sweet malt aroma, brown sugar, spices, dark fruit. Medium sweet taste, moderately spicy. Bit lower carbonation. Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2015
CBAC day 6...drinks more like a barleywine than a quad... Nice aromas of rich caramel, dark dried fruits, caramelized sugar, dates and a light alcohol...never got though. Taste is the same with a silky smooth finish and a nice alcohol warmth on the finish... Notes of dates and currents stand out... Great beer from a great brewery! bulldogops (2907) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 28, 2015

Aroma is caramel, roasted malts, plum, raisins and candy sugar. Taste is rich dark caramel, molasses and bread. Some subtle dark fruits and candy sugar here. Appearance is a clear bronze with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well. Lagerboy (2239) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 25, 2015
355 ml bottle, 2014 vintage, 10.1%. Unclear deep copper, fading off-white foam. Aroma of dark fruits and spice. Taste is sweet and rich, caramel, toffee, dark fruitiness, some chocolate later on, no bitterness. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, low hopped. Nice enough, certainly not worth a novel.
