This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt light copper color with a finger’s worth of off white foamy head
that clung and glistened a little bit before gently dieing off to leave some sly
The aroma had some sweet grains, light floral bits, dried bubblegum, dried herbal qualities and some hay.
The flavor had a dried sweetness about it through the prior mentioned aromas. Subtle dried flroal/herbal/hay aftertaste
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine.
ABV felt as projected.
Overall, with so many saisons on the market these days, I don’t see a need to come back to this other than being grateful
to my West coast friend for sending this to me. Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2016
Picked up a 16-oz can four pack from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden pale yellow colored brew with an average sized off-white head that lowly dissipates. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of floral hops and a touch of bread yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied bodied, with flavors of spiced saison yeast, a touch of smoked golden grain malt with a touch of grassy hops. Finish is semi-dry with a lightly smoked golden grain malt and saison yeast aftertaste with a hint of white pepper. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 6, 2014
"Meh. Pretty ho hum. A belgianesque saision yeast was really the only thing seperating this from a boring yellow fizzy beer. Not bad, but so lacking compared to the awesome saisons out today. " arnold931 (1261) - Iowa, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper with a nice head. Nose is mild citrus and some fruit. Taste is also very mild...citrus and some breadiness. Tart on the backend. BrewMstr (194) - Pleasant View, Utah, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Golden color, white head, bottle was well carbonated. Light pilsner taste with prevalent doughiness, notes of spices and banana and a clean, citrus finish.

Brush Tail left me underwhelmed. It’s a sad thing, too. I like this brewery and I love farmhouse ales. I tend to be fairly open-minded when it comes to this category because these beers are so diverse. While Brush Tail offers some flavor of yeast and smoke, there’s just not enough. A farmhouse ale has to have big, mature flavors, and Brush Tail simply doesn’t offer that. Still, for a 12 ounce version, it isn’t awful. HuskerTan (2454) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - DEC 30, 2013
A- Spices, citrus, herbs.
A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Medium bitterness, earthy, herbs, spices, subtle citrus tones.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spicy finish.
O- Not my favorite saison, but not bad. Has some good complexity to it. edgallow (4640) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 27, 2013

~Pils malt aroma, bready with lemon and peppery spice. Refreshing.
~Pours a hazy light gold color with big foamy lasting white head.
~Bitter lemon peel in flavor with lots of spice and earthy hops. Kinda a strange spice flavor combo in there.
~Medium light bodied with high CO2, frothy mouthfeel, lingering strange spice finish.
~Its a drinkable beer, but the strange spicy flavor is a turn off for me. Luckily got this on sale for $3.99 a six pack! onceblind (10897) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Clear pale gold with a rocky white head...like a lager. Smells like bread crust and pilsner malts...like a lager (not giving enough credit here, though bread crust and pilsner doughiness are prevalent here. There’s also a bit of earthy floral tones and a touch of orange zest. And the head actually leaves good lacing and retains well). Flavor is packed with hay and orange rind citrus, a bit of floral hops, and a bit of doughiness. Finishes estery and clean with a touch of pilsner malt and orange sweetness.
