Finally found a bottle of this in the singles cooler at a local store - cloudy golden pour - head is initially fizzy, but it froths up nicely eventually and the retention is impressive - nose of earthy, lightly husky malts, dusty yeast, pepper, floral notes, mild banana esters - light to medium body, with moderate carbonation - lightly tart up front, but dries out quickly - light mineral/limestone - spicy/pepper phenols, especially in the bone dry finish - very mild plastic phenols, but not of the off-putting sort - mild banana esters late (I don’t taste them nearly as much as others) - this is quite nice - I really dig how crisp and dry it is - the nose has a couple off notes, but otherwise this is a solid attempt - I must track down a full six pack. jake65 (3948) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle: Pours a flat golden color with two fingers of fluffy white head. Light farmhouse style aroma; dry and dusty, yeast, light florals, and citrus. Flavor is maltier than expected and it compliments a grainy presence. Sweet, but not cloying. The yeast and florals remain too. The last lingering flavor is of bananas… not a bad way to finish. Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with a huge white head and a fruity aroma. There is a light malt flavor that is a little fruity with a sour dry finish. Quite yeasty. RasterMaster (258) - , Oklahoma, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Hazy, dirty blonde pour into thick, lingering fluffy white head that slowly dissipates into sticky lacing. Clingy wafts of bubbly foam eventually melting down the glass into a pool of pillowy suds. Aroma of spruce, doughy wheat bread and yeasty malt. Initial flavor of yeasty biscuit and toasted malt that slowly fades into a banana-citrus finish. thegreenrooster (4448) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Pour is a cloudy blond with a huge white head. Aroma is hoppy, yeast phenols with and odd soapyness. Flavor is yeasty a minor hop and grainy. Not enough of the Belgain estery, spicy peppery thing going on but it was kinda headed in the right direction.

Bottle from Mora aka the Billdozer. Cloudy golden pour. Nose is phenolic, banana. Flavor is phenolic, banana, clove, bitter finish. Nice and dry. ads135 (4727) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Not the best saison. Stale and lacking the tartness of the best of them. Hops are understated, as is the alcohol content. robloc303 (268) - Erie, Colorado, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Pours hazy gold, lots of head. Nose of citrus, lemon, flowers. Very full bodied, a tad bitter, bread, yeast, some mild citrus notes, floral on the end. A wonderful beer! gururyan (727) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Poured from bottle into snifter...a beautiful poor by the way, very photogenic. Cloudy bright gold with a good, lasting white head. Floral and citrus nose. Great body and feel...leaves a soured aftertaste.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grain, some biscuit, hints of spice, slight grassy notes, pretty bland. Taste is similar, mix of slight corn, grain, hints of honey, slight grass, finishing clean, slightly dry. Subpar compared to other Big Sky offerings.
