Clear golden; white head. Aroma just like that of the saison I home brewed last fall. Decent, but doesnít stand out. Taste is thin and weak and a touch off. Body is light-medium and slick. In all categories besides aroma, even my super-first attempt-amateur saison was far superior. This is perfectly acceptable as a session type beer, but itís poor amongst saisons. Pours hazy gold with a huge white head that lingers around for a while. Bread and citrus aroma with some spice. Not much carbonation. Feels flat on the palate with some light hop bitterness. Finishes clean. RobertDale (6373) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUL 11, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and spice. Taste is lemon, yeast, spice, and grass. Average Saison. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Straw in color, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Bright herbal and grassy nose.   Mealy and grassy on the tongue.   Not as floral or bright as I had hoped.   Has a slight herbal aspect, along
with general bright straw/hay and grassiness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Mealy wheaty finish, a touch dry, and thats about it.   Nothing really floral or bright to be seen.   Very slight metallic notes on the
finish.   Not terrible, but not at all what I would have thought of as a Saison. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Straw colored, white head. It seems to be missing something, donít think this bottle is anywhere near new. Some minor herbs and grass, but far from a saison.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 This brew has so many great elements to it; however, it really fails on the finishes and makes it all seem so trite. Pours a slightly murky golden straw color. Aroma is yeast, some banana notes, and floral. Taste is sweet, banana, yeast, dough, and faintly citrus. The finishes is abruptly bitter and unpleasant. What happened here? Itís so good up until the end. What a disappointing imbalance. Sigh. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 6, 2013
Aroma of spice (cloves) and citrus fruit with hints of barnyard/earthy funk. A clear golden yellow our with a moderately dissipating white head and minimal lacing. The taste is surprise. I get moderate malts and gram crackers with a slight touch of fruit and spice in the middle and a dry grainy finish. Medium-light body with crisp carbonation. Slightly watery. Overall, while a drinkable beer, it is not, sadly, very representative of the Saison style ttoadee (1477) - Austin, Texas, USA - APR 26, 2013
Cloudy gold, limited white head. Yeasty nose, slightly bitter. Not quite ripe melon & pepper in the middle, a little flat. Finish is dry...missing something. unclemike (3115) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - MAY 12, 2013
It pours a nice clear golden color with a fluffy white head. The aroma jumps out as fresh bread with some orange and spices. Really digging this grainy/malty aroma. The flavor is similar with lots of wheat and rye with a good subdued spicy, peppery finish. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAY 29, 2013
This beer is a hazy golden color with a large white head that seems to fade at a mild pace, and the aroma combines hints of sour fruit, yeast, and rye. The taste is quite sour, slightly bitter, and a touch sweet, which doesnít give me the balance and flavor combinations I expect when I see a "saison." Furthermore, the palate combines a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and a sour finish.
