12-oz. Pours a murky medium amber. Huge fluffy white head. Cigarette ashes and egg yolks on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Ashy, sulfuric mid palate. Surprisingly mild finish. Disappointing.

Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a slightly cloudy straw-orange. Lots of off-white head. Aroma malt-forward, but with some yeasty ester notes as well. Body lively on tongue, finish very abrupt, maybe some hints of grass or spice? Not bad, just a little slight.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a cloudy, dark orange appearance with a big creamy, white head. Lemon pinesol, mild barnyard, somewhat spicy, herbal aroma. Tangy, tangerine, slightly tart, peppery, a bit goopy flavor. Scroll past.

Bright Orange-yellow only slightly cloudy. It looks filtered. Quick dissipating white head some legs. Aroma of Belgian yeast, co2, and alcohol comes across like markers. Taste is good though with bubblegum and banana. Slight funk going on as well. Watery mouthfeel. Would be great on a hot day in lieu of budweiser.

Not the best saison. Stale and lacking the tartness of the best of them. Hops are understated, as is the alcohol content.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 Bottle. Semi-hazy golden yellow pour with a small white head. I wonder if this is too old or handled inappropriately - stale grass and cardboard cover up the yeast and wheat. Pretty lackluster if this is as intended.

"Meh. Pretty ho hum. A belgianesque saision yeast was really the only thing seperating this from a boring yellow fizzy beer. Not bad, but so lacking compared to the awesome saisons out today. "
