750ml from Pick’s poured into my Chimay Trappist glass. 2009 vintage bottle number 2643 of 3000 Pours a hazy gold with 2 fingers of white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Taste is medium sweet. Candied sugar, wheat, yeast and light citrus. Medium-full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long sweet finish. The carbonation explodes in your mouth. Very champagne-like. Overall, very good. I’ll definitly be drinking this again, but probably splitting with a friend. JoePeesie (925) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2011

2009 version, bottle 898 of 3000. Gold, big white head. Smells - look, I’m gonna be honest here: The word "boozy" shows up in my notes , like 4 or 5 times. Usually, that’s kind of a deal breaker for me, but it kinda works here. So, yeah - alcohol, some peppery notes, some winey notes, and as it warms I swear I got a minty flavor. and booze. I don’t know if I could finish an entire 750, but I liked my sample. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2011
