Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: moderate, chocolate/coffee aroma.
Appearance: very small, light-brown, initial head that instantly disappeared. No lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark, reddish-brown body.
Taste: light chocolate/coffee initial flavor and lightly acidic and roasty finish with long duration.
Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: this is an outstanding porter. Great aroma with a flavor to match. I’d like to try it from the tap.
Dark brown liquid with a moderately sized lid of dark tan bubbles. Roasted malt and burnt coffee dominate the scents. Hints of dark chocolate in the background. Sweetened coffee flavors, with bit of chocolate and toasted to roasted malts. The coffee seems a bit acidity at times. Not a wake me up kind of coffee porter, more of a Sunday afternoon coffee brew. 9/11

Pours a dark brown. Aroma of chocolate/coffee. Flavors pretty much the same as the nose. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - NOV 27, 2014
Rated from notes --On tap at the tasting room -- Pours a nice dark brown, with small tan head. Aroma is small coffee, roast, and malt. Flavor is a good porter, and the coffee comes through just enough. BreWedge (531) - goose bay, Newfoundland, CANADA - OCT 12, 2014
355 ml bottle (admittedly well aged - circa 2010). Pours a virtual opaque black with a huge undulating mocha head. Aromas are big coffee, cocoa, and a little tapioca pudding. As it warmed a little more of the typical molasses/licorice came out.Tastes are coffee dominant (but not cloying) in balance with chocolate. Best comparison is like a coffee crisp but with a fraction of the sweetness. Thick oily texture, soft carbonation, mildly bitter medium finish with a little warming alcohol. This is a very pleasant beer. crossovert (12613) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2014
355ml bottle. Dark brown pour, creamy tan/brown head. Smell is coffee and cocoa, slight bit of the green pepper scent some coffee beers like bcbcs get but not over the top. It has a nice body, sweet caramel and cocoa backing, the coffee is heavy, slight metallic note, not super bitter. I am expecitng fresher better coffee flavor but it isn’t bad.

"a nice addition to their line-up. a little thin bodied but the flavor makes up for that. for the price, a very nice highly quaffable beer. the coffee is a little more evident in the flavor than the aroma. more roast in the nose and chocolate.roast/bitter balance in the flavor. well done." chinchill (4899) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 1, 2014
12 oz bottle poured opaque with a large creamy head.
Unappealing aroma suggests the beer is past its prime, but this doesn’t carry over to the flavor where dark roasted malts dominate. Coffee and dark chocolate are also present.
Creamy smooth, relatively lively feel. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 15, 2014

Decent coffee, but lighter than expected mouthfeel for a porter. Dark brown, OK aroma. Not so drinkable. Extra from Steve in Michigan. KingCecil (2084) - DENMARK - DEC 26, 2013
