COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

An American style IPA from Montana, my first beer from this brewery, depicting a pronghorn on its label - an unusual species of artiodactyl indigenous to the North American prairies. Thick membranous lacing, off-white, moussy head slowly dissolving in the middle, clear and warm orange blonde robe, almost amberish. Fragrant aroma of moldy grapefruit peel, spruce shoots, sweet paprika, hemp, red curry, dried mango, pink pepper, kumquat, biscuit, apple cake dough, freshly toasted white bread, yellow kiwi, passion fruit, lavender. Fruity but clean onset, refreshing, restrained but at the same time outspoken sweetness dominating with hints of mango, lychee and melon, medium carbo fit for the style, supple, lean mouthfeel. Some faint sourish redcurrant notes are quickly overcome by hoppiness, gradually and elegantly developing its bittering properties over a bridge of soft, sweet biscuity malts and ending very aromatic, with a wealth of retronasal pine, mango and sweet citrus aromas, and simultaneously providing a resinous, grapefruity, tangy bitterness drying the back of the mouth. Very typical modern day IPA in every respect, no game changer perhaps, but technically well done and delicate, tilted towards the sweet, tropical, aromatic side. Very enjoyable.

can - bought in Jackson WY - drank in the Tetons. Terrific, simple IPA. Especially fond since I had 2 at my campsite up in the Tetons. Made for a perfect end to epic hiking

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear, orange in color, nice white head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is of hops (pine and citrus fruits) mixed with a touch of malts and some booze. Taste is hoppy but very well balanced with malts. Very good IPA, well crafted.

With the growing number of Anerican IPAs being available in Australia this ranks very highly. A good orange hue in the pour and mellow notes of pine resin. There is a bit of same same with the simcoe and amarillo hop flavour but these are well balanced by the malty finish. A really good go to IPA.

BOTTLE. Hazy orange to brown with thick off white head.. Strong biscuit & caramel malt nose.. Thin hoppy start that goes to a subtle bitterness in the middle finishing with a thick hit of caramel & biscuit malts.. Sourced Cellarbrations @ Capel

Has the right combination of malty sweetness and hops to make it very drinkable. Its how I like an IPA.

Poured a 12oz brown bottle into a nucleated schooner glass, a clear medium orange amber colour with thin but persistent white foam and lace. Rich caramel malt sweetness supporting even bigger American hop bill: grapefruit, woodsy, with dank resin (Simcoe?), tangy sweet citrus and overripe apricots (Crystal?). Lingering bitter bite blending well with fruity English ale yeast esters. Definitely a hops-forward balanced, but more tasty and nicely layered than many competing A-IPAs. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth, well-rounded mouthfeel, nice alcoholic strength, long-lasting bittersweet and fruity aftertastes. Very tasty.
