3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dont seek out but dont avoid either if offered. Has nice grapefruit carmel popcorn taste combination, but it falls short of the leading ipa’s because it has a thin body which makes it seem overcarbonated, giving it an unpleasant sharpness in the finish. Good not great, story of Big Sky’s life.
Pours hazy orange and smells like citris, pine and bready malts. Tastes the same as it smells with more esters and some caramel malt flavours too. Soapy mouthfeel. Well balanced, just not a stand out. Bill Becker (1773) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 17, 2017

Poured from 12oz bottle a dark reddish gold with a large head of foam that shrinks down to about a half inch but stays for the entire session.
The smell is a pungent mix of pine and citrus that I haven't noticed in any other American IPA that I've tried. Interesting.
The taste is very piney up front with notes of grapefruit and then, some sweet caramel malt moves in trying to create some balance and after a few sips, there *is* some balance there but the hops are still in the drivers seat. ;^) Btw, there's no best by date anywhere on the label or bottle but there's no doubt in my mind that this is a fresh product and...a darned good one.
Bottom line: This is a very nice American IPA that just recently showed up in Casper and I'm going to enjoy it often. I say, if you see it, give it a try. Dal9000 (669) - Ohio, USA - OCT 15, 2017
Pours Dark amber with an off white head. Initial mild hint of citrus hops. Then a mild middle with a soft lingering hop tang on the front of the tongue.

Pours a clear caramel god with a nice white head which lingers.......aroma of bread, malt, slight citrus.....taste is crisp, clear, clean with a fair amount of body, nice bitterness, more a British IPA. Quite refreshing. tntracey (109) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - AUG 27, 2017
12 oz bottle poured into frosted pint glass. A pleasant surprise, a good IPA. Looked kinda watery and clear in glass, so had my doubts. In reality, a well balanced IPA that holds its taste to the bottom of the glass!

Pours dark gold from the bottle. Aroma is pine, citrus, armpit odor. Taste is mildly bitter, crisp, clean, with a slightly fruity finish. Body is medium, average carbonation. Pleasant drinking. Pudge (4) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2017 does not count
Tastes weird and I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the animal on the front of the beer Brettsky06 (520) - Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 26, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2017 Burnt orange pour. Light citrus aroma. Strong pine resin taste. Oily mouthfeel. coachd (929) - Missouri, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Nice pine and citrus fruit aroma. Medium golden color with an off white head. Moderate hop bite with a clean finish. Exceedingly drinkable. Smooth palate. This is easy to find where I live and it could become part of my regular rotation. Well done by Big Sky. Senap (746) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2017
Hyfsat smakrik och lättdrucken IPa. Fin färg. Tjusig etikett. Lite väl karaktärslös kanske?
