Pyobon (1514) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 16, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 (Bottle) Pours black with tiny tan head. Nice aroma - toffee, chocolate, raisins, smokey notes. Great palate - full bodied, oily with some stickiness and gentle soft carbonation. Great taste too - there's plenty of toffee / molasses sweetness overlaid with dried fruit at the start and some decent bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Very drinkable. Aroma of chocolate raisins and cigarettes. Taste of bourbon and fruit and nut. A litttle bitter and oily. Pleasant but doesn’t stand out from the crowd

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2017 2015 found at local store. not great, kind of flat, no head. roasted taste with slight malt, but there was almost a stale taste to it. notes of plum, raisin and coffee. mediocre compared to other imperial stouts.

ricke49 (95) - La Pine, Oregon, USA - JUL 25, 2017
2015 vintage, so aged a bit. So smooth and easy drinking. Hits all the right notes: deep roast, malt bomb, pleasantly sweet, hint of hops. This is an imperial stout that is so smooth it can damn well be gulped rather than sipped.

Capa (3500) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JUL 11, 2017
Black with a dark head. Sweet malts, molasses, roasted notes, cocoa, and booze. Thick. Finish is long and warm. Quite nice.

Cybercat (6239) - Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Pours deep coffee with a nice tan head. Aroma features roast malt, chocolate, coffee and licorice tones, very tempting! Flavor presents roast and smoky malt, quality coffee, chocolate, molasses and licorice tones plus a snip of woody hops. Mouthfeel offers firm body and peppy fizz. Ivan, this ain’t terrible!
