Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate notes, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Clear dark red - brown beer. Dry palate. Nutty malt that is also a little creamy and has a trace of smoke. Finishes with some fruit coming to the fore. Ends semi dry. A little off the beaten track!

(On tap) Dark brown with an orange glow and a small, off-white head. Lightly burned, toasted aroma. Medium body, notes of nuts and roasted malts and then a vague, ashy edge. Ends dry but not particularly bitter. A very decent Brown Ale. 230307
