Moose Drool is our Brown Ale. Far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana, Moose Drool is chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. Our brown ale is a malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. The aroma also mostly comes from the malt with a hint of spiciness being added by the hops. Moose Drool is brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts; and Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato, and is 4.2% alcohol by weight, 5.3% by volume.
Note: ABV went down to 5.1%.

TBone (18552) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 5, 2009
Bottled (at Chriso, BB 08/2009). Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Caramel and cardboard in the nose. Caramelly, slightly tart flavor. Some cardboardish hops. Standard boring brown ale. Needs more fresh bottle, I think.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2016 355ml can - thanks dwyerpg!
Nice rich roasty aroma, savoury, a bit of soy. Watery palate, carbonation high. A touch yeasty. Bit dull, just some savoury malts. Nothing to really grab onto here, and the carbonation was offputting.

Bottle. A clear, copper-colored beer with a small off-white to beige head. Slightly vegetal on the nose, some roasted malts, chocolate and caramel too. Dried fruits and caramel in the mouth, rather thin on the palate. Short finish. A boring one, but it drinks easily, still I don’t see the use for this one. 101015
