3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was a nice brown ale, with a tiny seet aroma. The taste gave me a well balanced example of the style, with a twist. Glad to have the chance to taste. Thanks Mark.
Pours dark translucent brown with a think tan head. Caramel taste with a hint of dry cocoa finish. A hint of cinnamon spices at the finish.

Pours a deep cola color with a decent off white head which lingers a bit......aroma of chocolate, shoo fly pie filling.....taste is a tad thin, touch metallic, chocolate, slight bittering, but disappears quickly. robbster (5) - - SEP 15, 2017 does not count
Looks like a coke when you pour it in a glass. I didn't enjoy the appearance perhaps on draft it would be different. However over all I love moose drool

Moose Drool's Brown Ale has on OK taste in my opinion. Stouts and Porters are still my game.

Bottle courtesy of jtclockwork. Region #111. Pours mid to dark brown with a lasting tan coloured head. Aroma of nut, hop, chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and molasses. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and creamy texture, average to soft carbonation.

From the bottle, also at the Beartooth Cafe in Cooke City. Pours brown and leaves a thick, foamy head. Aroma is nutty. Taste is sweet, nutty, with a light apple tang near the finish. Dragged down by light metallic notes, but otherwise good. nathanvc (639) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUL 15, 2017
At Beartooth Cafe, Cooke City. Pours hazy dark amber/brown with a diminishing, brown head. The aroma contains caramel, malt, hay, hops and bread. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter with a dry finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Drinkable yet nothing special. tokey77 (3) - - JUN 21, 2017 does not count
Nice dark and rich colour. Flavour has nutty hints a chocolate. Would buy this again.

When in Big Sky country do as the Big Skyers do. Purchased as a 12 oz bottle at the Canyon Lodge store in Yellowstone. A pour into the finest quality plastic cup available delivers a dark brown body followed by a tall, brown egg colored foam. The nose gives up malt and straw. With a drink I get more of the malt, significant hoppiness and a roasted nuts finish. Decent but brown ales are way down on the list for me. jsmerig (1663) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 2, 2017
Pours a deep dark ruby reddish brown with a white head. Aroma of grape and dark malt. Taste is malt forward with a note of maple syrup with a slight oak note followed and finished by earthy hops.
