Another really nice rich winter beer. Sweet maltiness in the aroma and the flavor is fruity with some nuttiness coming through as well. Some toffee and caramel flavors are quite dominant with a little bit of hops coming through in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Pours a medium/dark amber color. Sweet malty aroma. Some english type hops as well, I believe. Somehwta sweet up front. Mildly hoppy and malty. A rather mild tasting brew. Reminds be of a sweet/strong bitter. Has a sublime finish that I can’t put my finger on.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2005 Malty aroma. Caramel / Toffee, nuts present. Thin lasting head. Decent lacing. Attractive dark red in color. Would be a little better if a little more hops were present, but this isn’t too bad. Maybe a little sticky on the palate, otherwise pretty good.
