Thanks to Jake for another winner. This one pours clear deep coppery ruby colored, with a 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sour mashy fruit, hops, figs, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Tastes caramel malty as a base, with hints of figgy fruit, brown sugar, spices, and plum notes.

BVery (10300) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle. Clear orange pour with a smaller head. Aroma is toasted bread, caramel, and kinda funky. Medium palate. Taste is burnt caramel and very hoppy - a bit unbalanced.

DuffMan (10268) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 14, 2009
Dark amber with a moderate white head. Butterscotch toffee aroma. Toasty toffee malt dominates the palate with some nutty marzipan undertones and a fruity hop note in the finish. Nice.

marcus (10142) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 26, 2005
This amber ale poured with a modest off-white head. The initial taste was fairly sweet and malty, with a slightly acidic finish. This was a satisfying, but unremarkable beer.

arminjewell (9584) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Pours dark red with off white head, aroma is full of caramel and bread malt. Taste up front is sweet caramel and spice with some bready malt that finishes sweet. Not bad.

3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2003
Clear ruby red, sweet cherry and wood aroma, like a cherry flavored liquor. Biting cherry flavor with an even smooth palate and a crisp finish. Very sweet, and pleasant.
