Amber color, clean, with compact head. A Pale Ale with a zesty and spicy touch thanks to the rye and hops; smooth; solid, pretty good.
Bottled. Has a clear orange. Nice carbonation. Has a nice bold flavor. Citrus with a roasty sweetness. Good balance. fidelis83 (2551) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - FEB 1, 2016
Nearly clear amber pour with a one finger creamy of white head that has good retention. Aroma is spicy grain, sweet fruity esters, toast, a hint of chocolate, citrus and herbal hops. Flavor is spicy rye, sweet cereal, grass, toast, citrus peel and earthy hops. Light to medium body, neutral to oily entry, medium, sharp carbonation. Decent, maybe a bit plain. gururyan (730) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 7, 2016
Good seasonal from Big Sky, strong in the rye but still quite chuggable and a good pale. Alcohol well hidden and plentiful, particularly for a pale.

Amber red in color. Thin head with great lacing. Apples and caramel aroma. Woody. Cherry. Thin texture. Grainy. Slight bitter finish. Weedy. Good everyday drinking beer.

Aroma is dank and rye/rye bread. The flavor is ry/rye bread, fruit, citrus, hops/slight hop resin, malts and a mix of bitter, spicy and very slight sourness in the finish. slowrunner77 (13368) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 30, 2015
Rye spice and pine up front in the nose and flavor. Nice bready malt backbone. Slightly better than expected. mbgrayson (822) - Anaconda, Montana, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Pours a clear light gold, with a nice white head. Aroma of rye (and hops in the background). Taste of rye and hops blends nicely, a bit of a bite. This one is a bit different, and fairly unique. Thumbs up. poisoneddwarf (2710) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - NOV 13, 2015
12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is fantastic, dank, with spicy rye, grapefruit, bread and pine notes. Pours clear copper with a medium beige head with good retention and creamy lace. Taste is highly bitter with just a little sweetness alongside; flavors match the aroma. This exceeded my expectations in a massive way. Really impressive. Bottle. Copper with a sticky white head. Rye, pine, lemon zest and bread. Piney bitter flavor with a slight soapy aftertaste. Medium heavy body with a fizzy, soapy feel.
