Black color with brownish head. It’s a bit bready, dry, with some dulce de leche caramel style, and ordinary bitterness.

Roast malt nose, varnish, molasses, toffee, liqourice.
Tastes of lightly roasted malts, touch of chocolate, light hops, toffee.
Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth, with oats, light cocoa and a touch of toasted malt. Flavour is smooth and restrained, with oats and a touch of very dry cocoa. Not a whole lot going on here, but it’s sure smooth and drinkable. Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown wiuth a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and light carmel. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and light coffee with a smooth lingering coffee finish.
