6bottlepack (512) - Devon, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2017
Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours dark ruby near black with a big light beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, light sweet coffee, raisin & slight roasted notes. Taste of dark chocolate, milky coffee, leather, raisin & roasted malt. Light to medium bodied,a little to carbonated that hides the silky mouth feel. The finish is bitter sweet, dry with more roasted malt ,dark chocolate , raisin & leather. Sort the over carbonation out & this could be great!

Cask at The Albion. Roasted malt, some coffee, the sweetness of the milk chocolate comes through really well. Nice.

HogTownHarry (7064) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - APR 19, 2017
September 27, 2015 - At The Lyric (Soho) - handpull cask. Love black pour with a lasting frothy tan head. Roasty aroma, mint & chocolate, light alcohol and some lacto cream lushness - spot on. Taste follows, almost more like watery chocolate milk than a beer - but nice. Light, slick and airy mouthfeel, finishes incredibly quick with a dry light cocoa aftertaste. Amazed how much I liked it.

Cask Half Pint at The Albion, Kingston, Surrey in Dec 2016 - Dark Brown in colour. Tan head. Good lacing. Malty; toasty malts, milk chocolate, lactose, some coffee, caramel, vanilla. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins. Sweet milk chocolate and coffee malty throughout. Some roasty bitterness in finish. Very drinkable. (2016-12-12)

Cask-conditioned on gravity, at Weymouth Octoberfest. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish stout, with some coffee notes, vanilla and milk chocolate, before a gentle finish. Good.

Leighton (22056) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2016
Cask at the Lyric - London. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds rich milk chocolate, subtle roasted malts, cocoa, earth. Light to medium sweet flavour with more creamy milk chocolate, moderate roast, light earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced in the finish, with some dark fruits, plum, berries, further milk chocolate, burnt sugars. Solid overall.
