Draft at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma has roasted malt notes along with piney hops and a touch of coffee. Similar flavor with a nice amount of bitterness in the finish. Nice beer overall. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 19, 2014
Big Storm Firestorm Black IPA is good but doesn’t quite make it to exceptional. Nice head on a dark pour, but with only a slight fresh hop aroma. Only a roasty note is detected before the bitterness washes it away. Based on the description, I was expecting more coffee and chocolate notes. Firestorm is nice with a meal but not very complex. Quite strong and very black. NIce in features and fine to drink but with caution due its strong alcohol. jcartamdg (3535) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 19, 2014
