The Palmbender Pale Ale has a sweet citrus aroma and a mellow hop bitterness. The addition of Grains of Paradise adds a subtly warm spice that is balanced by sweet caramel malt flavors and finished with hops from the Yakima Valley. The versatility of this pale ale makes this the ideal drinkable beer no matter which way the palm bends.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear light golden amber color with an off-white head. Nose is light and clean with some hop notes up front followed by a bit of biscuit malt.. Flavor has some nice hoppiness up front as well with some malt notes that soon follow. Nicely balanced beer.

Draft... Hazy amber pour with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention leaves ridiculously thick lacework. The nose is a blend of fruity, perfumey and grainy notes. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with adequate carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet - more sweet than bitter. Fruity, moderately sweet finish.

Fresh APA aroma -- caramel notes, clean brewed hops. Intense, clear amber with a huge, fluffy almond colored head. Toasted toffee sweetness, enough hops to be interesting without being oppressive. Citrus pith bitterness towards the end. Medium body, clean drinking, slippery mouthfeel. Holds carbonation well. Big Storm shows their skills again. On tap, Brass Tap, Tallahassee.

One of the better offerings from big storm that Ive had so far. Pours crisp clean honey light amber with light off white head. Nose is light but clean, hop forward and citrus with mild malt. Flavor is hop forward, clean with a sweet malt finish. Fruit notes that are lighter but I cant quite place it. Not terrible overall
