Big Surf won't knock you off your beach chair. However, this truly is the everyday drinking lager. If you drink bud, Kokanee, Pabst, etc, than you should switch to Big Surf. My go to beer if I'm going out with the guys. Easy to drink, awesome packaging.. Good choice!

Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts and some sweet floral hop esters. Taste is pale malts, some dme but not much very crisp and clean a d refreshing on the finish.

Pours a pale straw colour with small white spotty head. Aroma is crisp, grainy, kinda sweet malt. Taste is grain, some sweetness, and lightly bitter near the end. A beer style for the masses.

Can. 5%. Not my favourite, and would require a lime or some other fruitiness to be drinkable. Nice clear light to medium yellow color, white to off-white head. Mild sweetness and a very light bitterness, and softly carbonated. Can’t believe Depot loaded up on this swill.

Easily the best beer I’ve ever had. If I could give it an 11/10, I would. You can never go wrong with a BIG SURF.

Not bad I guess...bland, crisp and grainy. very absent of any taste but boring grains...Well balanced for a pale lager. Refreshing for sure

From 64oz growler. Gold pour, thin white cap that fades completely. Nose is grainy. Taste is sweet at first, gets grainy, very light hop finish. Lightish body with lots of carbonation. Decent pale lager, nothing fancy, goes down easy.

On tap @ Kelowna Golf & Country Club. Light yellow gold, no real head to speak of. JJ ordered the 1516, and at least it had a head. Grainy, sweaty aroma. Light grainy palate, with a sort of tartness to it. Meh.

6-pack purchased from a BC Liquor Store in Invermere, BC on 08/11/2012. Colour: medium yellow with medium white head. Nose: very basic light malt and soft barley with a touch of icing sugar. Taste: Light sweet, medium-light bitter, light sour. The slightly elevated bitterness saves this one from being nothing but a guzzling lager, and in turn makes it pleasantly drinkable. Basic flavour profile of a standard western Canadian lager.

Pours a pale yellow colour with thin white head which dissipates quickly. light aroma if grain and straw yeast, flavour is light grain little sweetness and no bitterness or hops overall just ok
