This was surprisingly OK. Aroma was sweet pecans, almost like a praline. Color was dark brown with a small head. Palate was creamy with little carbonation. Taste reminded me of the sweetness of a sweet or milk stout. Pecans were present in a nice roasted sense. Good beer but I don’t suggest it with a steak.
Amarillo, TX - on tap at Big Texan. Dark brown, tea-like pour, light, off white head, light lacing. Sweet pecan flavoring aroma, heavy diacetyl presence. Flavor presents some pecan sweetness, some diacetyl butterscotch like notes. Some quality issues apparent. Thinnish mouthfeel. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 14, 2015

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination brown sugar and sweet chocolate with just a hint of pecan. Flavor has chocolate up front with a good amount of brown sugar and pecan in the finish. RobertDale (6373) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - DEC 31, 2013
On tap at the Big Texan. Comes a somewhat cloudy brown with a hint of red. Has a decent beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and nuts. Taste is pecans, chocolate, malt, and caramel. Very enjoyable. DocJitsu (1970) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Pours a clear, dark cola brown. Nutty, maple syrup nose. Slick texture with a slight sharpness at the finish. Nutty, maple syrup, and brown sugar flavors. Over the top without being offensive or gimmicky.

Thanks to tizzlejizzle for sharing this growler.
The beer pours a brownish color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of pecan notes, as well as a good dose of caramel and toffee malt. The flavor is similar, with a few added notes. I get some pecan and vanilla notes, as well as some caramel. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.
