Nice and dark brown with a red tinit. Aroma was toasty nuts and carmel malts. Flavour was carmale and dark roasted malts but a little thin. A decent bitter finish. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 23, 2004
on tap at big time. brown and a bit flat. toasty aroma and some maple syrup sweetness and reasonably dry finish. decent enough Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2004
Dark brown with a small brown head and lace. Roast and caramel malts. Coffee or mocha. Smoky, some chocolate. The flavors, very similar to the aroma, trail off nicely with chocolate and mocha. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 12, 2004
Deep brown, smooth texture, semi-creamy flavor... some burnt malts, nice wood flavors and a dry palate. Balanced, and overall light, with less flavor than most porters. Very smoky licorice nose. Pretty good smoke finish. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 6, 2004
Ruby black with off-white head & lacing. The aroma is full of port & mocha, some chocolate. The flavor is creamy with roast & finishes a bit dry & astringent with lots of black malts.

Time. Its not a bad porter, simple, but tasty enough. Sweetish raisin toast flavour, some roasty/choclatey flavours late. You’ll probably be coming to Big Time for their IPA’s though.
Dark brown color, you can almost see through it if you hold it up to a bright light. Frothy brown head. Chocolate malt aroma and a doughy sourness. The flavor is dominated by the sourness. Bitter finish. ontario102 (794) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 27, 2004
This has some potential, however: Weak on aroma, flavor, mouthfeel, aroma....pretty uninteresting. The basics are there, they just need more amplification. TimE (5827) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 18, 2004
Somewhat sweet and has hints of roastiness. Though I found this a little thin. It was my least fav at the pub. PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2003
Had on tap at the brewpub in Seattle. Very good brewpub Porter. Black as night appearance; mocha colored head with decent lacing. Has some good bittersweet chocolate notes. No "dirt" aftertaste - good strong finish.
