COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our special 10th anniversary beer is the biggest IPA we have had the nerve to make. Almost all Pale malt, with less than one percent each of Carastan and Wheat makes a beer quite pale for its size at 19 plato OG. We added Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops just about every place and every way we could think of - giving it lots of hop flavor and aroma and enough bitterness to compliment the telltale sweetness of the malt. One patron says "It makes you smile so your mouth's big enough for the beer". 6.25% alcohol by weight 7.8% by volume. This beer is also known as the Ten Year Imperial IPA.

this IPA is awesome, very big beer, sweet maltiness finds a way through the tons of hops used in this beer, hops control the majority of the flavor with a spicey, citrus profile and aggressive biiterness. Hopheads must try this beer it’s one of the best!

Big Time Brewing Company--Decade India Pale Ale--1998 22 oz. Bottle. 7.80% ABV. (4.5 / 5.0) WOW Hoppy aroma. Golden rich pale IPA color. Rich sweetish body flows into big hop finish. Very floral and bitter. Front and finish overwhelm body throwing the brew a little off balance. Sampled 12/11/1998

The best beer on tap when I was there. The initial hop flavor is quite tasty, with the strength only coming through at the end. Pretty good stuff.

On tap at Bottleworks, split with Matts_Property, pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of piney / resinous hops, caramel and tropical fruits. Flavour is very fruity - mango and peach, with a piney hop blast and a perfect malt balance. Superb.

Very sweet citrusy nose with notes of caramelized malt. Quite sweet with a bitter finish that cleans up the palate. Very nice.

Hazy golden body with off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma is sweet, floral, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, floral, big malt underbelly. Alcohol noticeable, especially in the finish. Medium-full body, some stickiness. Nicely done I2PA -- maintained balance with big malts underneath the big hops.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a tiny head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Medium body with some rather sweet caramel notes and then some extremely fruity, pleasant citrus notes. Very American - very lovely. 130806
