On tap at big time. Dark amber, just the faintest hint of offwhite head dissipated by the time i'd walked it back to my table. Quite sweet, dark fruit definitely there but overwhelming other flavors.

Pours clear ruby, finger off white head.
Smell tropical fruit, toffee, big caramel, bit of cinnamon and licorice
Taste sweet red fruit and a lot of sugary caramel, minimal hop presence, almost like a belgian candi sugar flavor.

On tap at Brouwer’s Hard Liver 2013. Transparent brownish pour, very little head. Figs. Fruit. Maybe a little brown sugar. That is all. There’s no complexity to this one -- it just tastes like a flat fig soda. Not offensive by any means, but quite boring. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 23, 2013

Dark amber in color. Thick with a nice nose and lots of malt aroma. Dired fruit and very dry finish. Very tasty. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2012
Brilliant cedar color with dense, toffee cream head. Wonderful fig aroma couples with a deep amber malt presence, and then slinks together with figgy alcohol and dry peach fuzz. The body has a heavy citrus presence. Orange and fig notes throughout. Dry. Dogbrick (14331) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 20, 2012
On draught at Brouwer’s Cafe. This beer is a dark brownish-amber color with a thick beige head that dissipates slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of raisins, figs and dark malt. Touches of hops in the background. The finish is rich and malty with a lingering fig aftertaste. Pretty solid beer throughout. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 7, 2012
