Cask @ Big Time. Cloudy sandy blonde colour with a thin head. Syrupy, slightly herbal hop character. Abundant dry hops in the cask win the aroma a nice score. Spicy, very herbal hop character. Some malt stickiness but only a little bit of pale malt character. Clean, light IPA. Really thick sheet of lacing down the glass, too. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 13, 2010
Tap at Brouwer’s. Clear orange with a big, foamy white head. Left sheets of lacing as I drank. Aroma hoppy, citrusy, and floral, not unlike orange blossom. Has a a little bit of toasty, caramelly malt, but leans more towards the hop bitterness and aromatics and is only sweet enough to balance the hop character. More of the floral and orange notes make themselves known as you drink it. There’s a touch of herbal hempiness, but the orange blossom character is much more prominant. Has a nice, bitter, citrus rind finish. A standout Northwest IPA. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 13, 2009
On tap at Brouwer’s. There’s a daunting feeling that goes along with rating #501... like I have a lot of work to do. Pours a cloudy honey amber with a smallish head. These are some really nice, mellow hop varieties - lots of bittersweet citrus rind in here, balanced nicely with the caramel malts. Big time makes some really good "old standard" IPAs, and this one ranks right up there. Meerkat is still my favorite, but this is very tasty and refreshing. poured a hazy orange brown with a wispy cottonwood head. sweet hop aroma. full and bright lemon notes in the hop bitterness but not a lot of pairity or developed character. raphael (1254) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 14, 2007
on tap at pub. great summer ipa, big but lighter colored, crisp citrus hope aroma and flavor with just enough caramel to balance. a little cloudy w/ brief head. puckers you up well but not mercilessly. FlacoAlto (4182) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 2, 2007

My nose is greeted by a fruity hop driven note made up of apricot and lychee. The beer is a hazy blond-copper color and is topped by a wispy, light tan colored head. The flavor has a mellow hop bite to it with sharp, herbal pine flavors coupled with a fruity citrus character that is not quite as pungent as the nose might have suggested.
Hazy amber. Like most of Big Time’s beers this is cloudier than I would have expected, and like most leaves great lacing. Creamy mouth feel. Mallts and hops in balance, more grapefruity than orange and pine tar. Not my favorite of their IPAs, but a good beer.
