UPDATED: JUL 19, 2013 Pours a somewhat hazy straw with a small, quickly dissipating head. Smell is mellow tropical fruit and a little bit of earthy hop smell. Taste is powerful floral up front, bit earthy in the middle and end. Very good and drinkable. Mild bitterness. Pretty good. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 12, 2012
Cask at brewpub. Hazy unfiltered dark gold. Stable sudsy aerated head. Fruity aroma orchard fruit, honey peach and tangelo. Soft palate nice. Juicy body is nice and the lingering bitter finish is all about the orange peel and dandelion. Wombata (627) - Kobe, JAPAN - AUG 17, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Aroma: Again a bit reticent. Could have been my nose wasn’t in good form.
Flavor: Fruity, spicy/peppery, orange and orange rind.
Comment: Well-balanced and integrated. Good though the cask version was even better.
CASK VERSION: On tap at the brewery. Aroma: Distinct peach like the Bhagwan’s IPA.
Flavor: Peppery and herbal peach
Comment: This is so smooth and integrated and, though it doesn’t develop as much as the uncasked version, the flavors are satisfying with some complexity and hold up well from start to finish. I’d give an additional point each for Aroma, Taste and Overall so is this a 39 for me. Plus the palate probably deserves an extra point as well. dwyerpg (6498) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUN 17, 2011
This is pretty tasty. Orangeish in color. Very hoppy up front with a bit more balance later, but a super-dry finish. Better than bhagwan’s. Actually quite similar to Sierra Nevada torpedo in my opinion. eboats (1115) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 23, 2011
On tap at Big Time. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is nice and sweet citrus fruits, it reminds me of juicy fruit gum, but with hops mixed in. Medium bitterness, lightly sweet, medium body, with a bitter finish.

On tap, at some little pub in Seattle. Dark red/orange. Just dripping with hops; pine cone, caramel, hop oils. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. Tasty stuff. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JUN 27, 2010
I was told this was the hoppiest beer at Big Time. Aroma was better than a typical brewpub ipa. Strong hops, mostly leafy and minty, but a bit of citrus as well. Flavor is bitter. Nice. Big hop component balanced by a nice toffee/caramel. Mouthfeel isn’t quite watery but it was bordering on watery. It’s good, nothing too special, but I’d have it again. kitschy (326) - Nebraska, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Apricot color with lacing. Smells like peaches and pears. wow! hoppy. mouth-drying, then salivary glands kick in. Rose petal and alfalfa taste. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 29, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours deep dark gold with a white head. Has a citrus flavor of grapefruit and also a very hoppy floral aroma. The best thing about the beer is its intense bitter drying finish. This is a great brewpub IPA. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2010
Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Hazy amber, a little dirty, moderate to large batter like head, off-white, very nice lacing.   Very soft hop nose, a little muted.   A little dank in fact.   On the tongue it is more
flavorful than the nose suggests.   Wonderful bitterness, balanced with.   A nice malty sweetness.   Resiny without the acidity, which I like.   Lingers for quite a while after the finish.   This is one of my local
favorites, especially on cask.   Decent body, almost creamy mouthfeel.   Had it been on cask it would be a different story.   Good solid IPA.
