COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s come to be known as our fifth regular beer. A little bit bolder than the Bhagwan, with a greater depth of hop character through extensive first wort hopping. It’s got all the C hops stuff that we love, just more.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a hoppy malty citrus aroma with some grassy hints. Sweet malty hoppy bitter flavor with hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. Sweaty grapefruit aroma. Sweet with chewy mouthfeel. All about the hop flavour - there’s grapefruit and mango. The soft mouthfeel enhances the enjoyment. Salty very bitter finish. A fantastic IPA!

Draught at the brewpub, 6.3% ABV
Cloudy amber color. Very nice aroma, fruity. Lean mouthfeel, with good malt and toffee flavor; the hopping is bold but well blended, providing resins in the front, and some fruity presence. Long final.
Very good.

On tap at Big Time, Seattle. Hazy old gold colour with thin off white head. Pretty standard C hopped IPA. Some nice buzz on the end. Bit thin in mouth, nice enough. Sherberty sweet hop.

mcberko (17845) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
On tap at The Burgundian Tavern, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops, and a rich caramel malt backbone. There are unfortunately a lot of sulfates in there though. Flavour is even more dominated by sulfates, making this seem unbalanced. The flavour is quite hoppy, with the rich resinous and citrusy hops, weirdly balanced by caramel malt, again, with weird sulfate notes throwing this off. Decent, but very flawed. Maybe a shit recipe or bad keg - I’m not sure.

Oakes (17684) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 26, 2000
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2007 Cloudy light amber. Woody- slightly citric cascadey nose. Light pale malts and refreshing woody bitterness. Actually fairly light, and not as bright as the best examples. Quite competent, but lacks the wow factor that today’s PNW IPAs have.

Draft - Nice pine and citrus. Hazy gold with a rich white head. Sweet pale malts, citrus peel and a nice bitterness. Very drinkable.
