Tastes more like a pale ale than an amber. Not bad but not what I want in an amber.

Pours dark hazy 2 finger off white head. Murky, like mud. Nice lacing
Smell hoppy, dirty with a bit of citrus.
Taste smooth citrus, creamy mouthfeel, clean and easy drinking.

Cask version @ brewpub. Hazy orange-amber. Thick tight, lasting head. Nice lace. Balanced aroma is fruity with tree bark, leaves, and pine needle. Silky mouthfeel. Soft palate with lots of nice hop oils. Nice hop flavors permeate. Lots of pine. Permeated by pure straightforward good malt sweetness without being too sweet. Like jaggery without the intensity of the sugars. Quality. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Lost of cascade hops on the nose as well as caramel and toasted malt notes. Some sweetness as well. Pours darker amber with a creamy beigeish head. The flavor is nice light sweet caramel, toast, and cascade hops - nice floral and fruity characteristics in the finish. Very drinkable and well done. On cask at the brewery. Cloudy light amber with a fairly thick, sparkler-like head. This "cascadian amber" has a bright and fruity aroma with lightly toasty malt underpinning. Fresh, fruity dry hop balance. A medium bitter body with toastiness. This pour is quite yeasty, a fresh tapping, but still decent.
