Cask @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small white head. Malty spicy and slightly alcoholic aroma with hints of clove and hops. Sweetish malty warming spicy flavor with hints of citrus. Long warming malty spicy finish. saxo (19487) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2012
Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, sugary notes, malt and hops. Oakes (18756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2001
A very firm brew. Highly reminiscent of peach schnapps, with some soft malt flavours and a light pepperiness in the finish. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - APR 19, 2006
Draught Hazy pinkish yellow; rim for a head. Sweet, spicey, coriander, bananaester (lots of it), yeast. Very sweet. Tastes completely like a German Hefeweizento me: banana, meaty, yeasty, coriander and a bit of cloves. Yeast slickness, medium bodied. Too high mashing temperatures, yeast out of control, Belgian=coriander, the usual... bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 26, 2007

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2012 Clear amber with a thick coating of lacing. Thick and sticky, initlally a little sweet, but in the middle it turns to sour apples and sour pears. Interesting... unique... so I appreciate it. Strong, syrupy nose, full of ginger, coriander and yeast. motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 23, 2004

22, 07. Thanks, BVC! Slightly hazy medium gold with light tan head. Big candi sugar and watermelon nose. Definitely some sour tang there as well. Creamy medium body with carb that is still, amazingly, prickly after a year in the bottle. Caustically peppery and spicy. Finishes almost sour. Lots of very different things hanging out together in one place here, not always perfectly harmoniously. CaptainCougar (7634) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 24, 2010
On cask at San Diego Real Ale Fest, Carlsbad (6/12/09): Pours a hazy golden bronze with a well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of sweet fruity esters and toasty pale Belgian malts. Starts with good fullness and rich Belgian malty complexity with some doughy balance and coriander spice before a semi-sweet, drier finish. A pretty good and enjoyable Belgian strong ale.
