Sweet and boozy with a big punch of resiny hops. Its pretty standard for a DIPA which is a good thing to see from a small Midwest brewery. I’d pick it up again just to drink it next to a surly. novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 12, 2013
I loved this DIPA. Superb hop bite, great balance, orange colored pour and super citrus. On tap. smichlitsch (5) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 10, 2013 does not count
Good aroma. Lots of hops . Not for me overpowdered with hops. The beer does a good job hiding the high alcohol jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Can. Pours a copper color with white head. Piney, grassy, hoppy aromas. Kind of a hop bomb, not a lot of balance. crajun (1242) - , Texas, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Can thanks to khoffman43. aroma of piney hops and slight wood. nice amber head with long lasting white lacing. taste was of an ipa; good amount of hops but no real flavor; just hops. not for me..

Reddish gold pour. Nice combination of citrus and pine in the aroma. Hop bitterness balances well with the malt backbone. Relatively clean finish. Nice brew - does a good job hiding the 10%. bookman10 (1120) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Pours an orange-gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma of hops. Flavor is a combination of citrus and pine hops. Pretty crisp, clean mouthfeel. Bitter finish. This isn’t too bad. Bacterial (2998) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Slightly hazy golden pour. Nice floral and citrus nose. Lots of white lacing. mostly bitter in the taste. A little sweet on the finish cancels out some of the bitterness. guinnesses (11) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Hop balance is toward the flavor and aroma end of the spectrum, which is a nice to see from this style. I was expecting a resin bomb, nut the bitterness was very smooth. Sweet malt character balanced the hops nicely. A nicely made DIPA. DalzAle (2037) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Can thanks to khoffman43! Clear medium orange pour, thick foamy head and an aroma of bitter, herbal, resiny hops. Flavor is dry cedar, mild hops, plenty of malt to help balance the alcohol. Hops aren’t as pronounced as I’d like for a DIPA, but still not too bad. Decent beer, but I probably won’t pick it up in the future since there’s plenty cheaper (and better) options.
