Our Bark Bite IPA on Steroids! Plain and simple. This one might take a few trees down without trying. Its the one all the lady axes think they can change. He might be a tough guy in the flannel shirt who tears of bottle caps with his teeth, but dont worry hes easy to get along with. Brewed with a mix of Columbus and Centennial hops, it pours pale amber and goes down surprisingly easy. Well, maybe not so surprising, considering its from Big Wood Brewery.

16 oz can poured a hazy orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, grapefruit zest, floral notes, melon and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

This one is a flip flop for me, one sneiff and one sip is nice and herbal/piney, dry. On the other hand other whiffs and quaffs are salty putrid garbage.

Tap at Winterfest 2013. Nice double IPA - full flavored with solid balance. I enjoyed this one.

16 oz. can shared by drsordr. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have caramel and toasted malts with citrus, grapefruit, and dank hops. Subsequent drinks show some spicy and resiny hops. The finish gets soft and the hops sem a touch faded. I would not think it was 10%.

Pour on tap at APN 2013, hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma was very sweet orange, and grapefruit notes, hints of spice, lots of caramel, toffee, slight grassy notes in there as well. Taste is a mix of orange, grapefruit, sweet caramel, toffee, hints of grass, slight earth, finishing fairly bitter. Ok.

Split a pounder with one of my co-workers, who brought this from Minnesota. Thanks! Poured a clear, dark orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was herbal hops, bitterness, plenty of resin. Flavor had plenty of hops, malts, nice balance. Not overly boozy for nearly 10%. This was dangerously good.

Pint can. Poured cloudy medium golden with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up sharper fruit skins first and foremost, with alcohol and medicinal hops also present.. didnt smell very enjoyable. The flavor found similar stuff.. pale and caramel sweet malts at the core, with sharp fruit skins, peppery alcohol, and raw bitterness laced throughout.. some nice, fruity hop character joined at the end, but overall it was very medicinal. Medium-bodied with fairly filling carbonation.. spicy and sharp.. I dont need another.

Aroma is citrus, sugar, spices and a hint of tea. The flavor is citrus, biscuit malts, slight heat and a mix of alcohol, sugar and tangy in the finish.

Orange cloudy pour with white head. Fruity and vanilla grapefruit flavor. Hides the alcohol well. Smooth. Citrus orange notes too. Good stuff. Thanks to my pal Chad
