Hop balance is toward the flavor and aroma end of the spectrum, which is a nice to see from this style. I was expecting a resin bomb, nut the bitterness was very smooth. Sweet malt character balanced the hops nicely. A nicely made DIPA. Bjshades (156) - Iowa, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Pours a dark hazy gold color, tropical fruit on the nose, caramel notes up front with a hoppy finish, very interesting ipa but very tasty sudsnbudsMN (5) - Minnesota, USA - APR 26, 2013 does not count
Aroma * If you were to squeeze a whole grapefruit into a pint glass and call it beer, this would be that beer. Awesome squared.
App. * Extreme lacing and sticky looking. Mellow, creamy head.
Taste * Slightly bitter with minimal bite. Delicious sipped or enjoyed quickly, this beer is great.
Palate * Well balanced and not over the top. Canít wait to bring 1 to the disc golf course soon.
Overall * This beer is great. (I am slightly biased as I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN) bucs572000 (237) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Aroma is a tangerine, citrus, sweet, and sugary scent. Taste is a resiny piney flavor up front, orange, grapefruit, and a nice citrus blast follow. The malt is hidden back there too, nice sweet aftertaste. Very solid imperial/double!! novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 12, 2013
I loved this DIPA. Superb hop bite, great balance, orange colored pour and super citrus. On tap.

Tasted from a pound can. Light amber color with yellowish head. Sweat and fruity apricot aroma. Hoppy, slightly bitter taste.

had it out of a 16oz can. Poured a partly clear amber hue with a creamy yellow head. It has a apricot aroma with strong hop flavor, and a bitter aftertaste. zeke626 (460) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Can. Pours a hazy orange body with a thick one-inch white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, sugar, and floral hops. Flavor is similar, although rather sweet. Slightly sticky on the palate. Light carbonation. Finishes with a nice hop bitterness. Quite drinkable with no noticeable alcohol burn. tfratzke (97) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Lots of piney orange citrus. Beautiful orange color. Big caramel malt backbone. Very well blanced. This DIPA is unique and is one of the better ones i have had. BeerKurve (520) - - JAN 13, 2014
Hazy orange with a foamy head, great lacing and mild carbonation. Aroma of citrus, caramel, grapefruits, toffee and malts. Very citrus and floral hop forward flavor with caramel malts, grapefruits and a resiny aftertaste. Light bodied and mild carbonation. Very subtle flavor but not bad
