From a 16oz can. Aroma is citrus, light pine, and caramel. Flavors are citrus, pine, caramel, English toffee, and a light muddled hop character. Decent brew, wasn’t what I expected. Feel like these guys are almost there.
On tap at the brewery bar, dispensed to a flight sampler showing a clear, golden hue, with a frothy layer of off white foam, and ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was slight resinous dankness, citrus as grapefruit, with touches of pit & tropical fruit. Medium bodied, decently carbonated, medium citrus & rind bitterness that was mildly malt mellowed, and a dry finish. A capable IPA. commonmac (1223) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2016
Tap at Aster Cafe on their high quality patio. Pint glass. Inching closer to 1,000. Minimal off white head on a golden orange colored, relatively clear looking ale. Aroma is mostly piney with a fake lemony, citrus candy quality. Taste leans heavy into the bitter hop realm but does have a malty characteristic to offer up more body and some sweetness. Citrus comes through as well. Decent bite from the hoppy notes aligning itself well with the beer’s name. Nothing amazing here. JBomb (25) - Little Canada, Minnesota, USA - MAY 20, 2016
16oz can poured into big wood tulip glass. Pours a decent white head ,and leaves some laceing on the glass.aromas of citrus and pine.Flavor is malty and mildly hoppy
For a ipa not fabulous but decent. tennisjoel (1448) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - MAR 11, 2016
Somewhat attractive appearance. Hazy golden body with a substantial white creamy head. Nose is citrus, orange, artificial candy. Big apricot flavor. Got to give this some props for originality. Interesting brew. Not over the top hoppy, but I’m kind of digging this. hfmejias (1282) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - JAN 15, 2016
16 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, golden, with a nice off white head and a lot of lacing. Aroma is citrus fruit, pine and some caramel. Taste is slightly bitter, sweetness from malts, fruit and grain, a bit boozy. Decent beer, quite drinkable.

473ml can. This one seems a bit on the older side, amberish pour, citrus and dank but a lot of maltiness, not entirely that oxidized but old-tasting. commonshawn (1224) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 5, 2015
Tap at aster cafe. Dark gold with thick white head. Clean hop pine aroma. Crisp, drying, and hop taste throughout. Medium body, typical of the style. Standard ipa, but pretty good. euniceradio (525) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - NOV 24, 2015
16oz can to tulip. Pours clear orange gold, white froth head. Aroma of abrasive trop fruit, mango, sweet spruce, dank grass, wheat and tangerine. Taste of the same with some old basement bitters and some fig. Good carb, moderate sticky mouthfeel. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 11, 2015
