On tap at the brewery. Pours brown with a thin dense tan head. Nice lacing that coats the side of the glass. Roasted barley aroma. Flavors consist of roasted malt, hazel nut, coffee, a hint of coffee and carmel. There is a moderate hop bitterness. The finish is semi dry with some resinous hop bitterness the lingers and fades away. The body is a bit thin, but still a good hoppy brown. b3shine (8939) - Indiana, USA - OCT 23, 2013
Draft to taster at Big Woods. Looks solid; a cloudy amberish brown with head somewhere between off-white and light beige. Smells malty and hoppy with a bit of roast. Tastes like it smells, only more robust. Solid on the palate. Not bad.
