Bottle. Aroma of fruity jam. Taste is pretty sweet, light sour, small funk, lots of sweet fruits.

Deep pinky red, brief. Prune juice aroma, some solvents, some apple or pear. Redcurrant, skins in the taste, some prune juice, very sweet. Quite tart and acidic. Slightly harsh. Anna’s glass, a lower pour, is more apple juicey, less sour and harsh. Curious, about what I’d expect from troche.

Bottle (from etre). Pours red copper. Aroma is fruits, plum, carrots, some funk. Flavor is sour and sweet, raspberries, cherry skins, bitterness, funk, oak, tannins. Finish is sour and dry. Overall: very good.

375ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Murky dark red color. Tiny size, off-white head, disappears. Juicy, red currant, jammy, sour and some plums in aroma. Sour, cherries, sweet, bit of plums in taste. Sour cherries and acidic in aftertaste. Sweet acidic mouthfeel. I can drink it.

Trübes dunkelrot mit relativ wenig Schaum. Sehr fruchtig, reichlich Kirschen, leicht säuerlich, Sauerkirschen, Himbeeren, etwas Holz, süßlich.

A 375ml corked and capped bottle, bottle no. 870/3800, with a best before date of June 2017. Poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It was a nice clear dark ruby red colour with a thin soapy pinkish head that dissipates quickly while leaving some lacing. Aromas of sweet and sour red berry fruit with cherries and raspberries leading the way. This is followed by blackcurrants and oak with hints of vinegar and funk. Tastes lightly sweet and lightly sour cherry, raspberry and oak with a hint of red wine. Medium to light bodied with low carbonation. Overall it’s more sweet than sour which is not my preference, but it is still an interesting and very nice Fruit Lambic.

[ Bottle # 675/3800 ].Clear medium to dark red color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate to heavy cherry, raspberry, tart, sweet, sour, funky, light to moderate wine - red wine - oak. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, raspberry, cherry, sour, funky, oak - dry oak - dry wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Zlotta (4233) - Hagen, GERMANY - JAN 26, 2017
0.375 l bottle from ’Firma Bier’, bottle #681/3800, best before June 2017. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, soapy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sourish, a bit sweetish, very fruity and slightly funky aroma of massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, vinegar, some sweat and a bit oak. Rather sweet, only moderately sour, heavily fruity and slightly funky taste of again massive sour cherries and raspberries, elderberry, blackcurrant, some sweat and some vinegar as well as a touch of oak, followed by a relatively short, moderately tart, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, just slightly astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, lots of fruit with a shy background of lambic character, maybe already too sweet, but definitely a well-made and really interesting fruit lambic.
